2020.08.24 Release Note
Feature update : page scrolling can now be specified as a trigger for delivery of web messages
What's New
It is now possible to specify page scrolling as a trigger for delivering web messages.
Use cases
I want to display a web message on the article page that appeals to the reader to request information at the end of the article.
Purpose of distribution
Wouldn't it be more likely to increase the probability of a request for information if you appeal at a time when they are motivated after reading the article rather than when they land on the target article page?
To be delivered
Users who have visited the target article page and have never requested information before.
Delivery timing
The timing of reading the target article page (when the page is viewed 70% of the time)
Content of delivery
Appeal for information requests
How to set up on the administration screen
Open the Repro administration screen, go to Marketing > Messages and then to the Web message creation and editing screen.
As shown in the following image, there is a "Message Display Timing" section in the edit section of the message content, from which you can set the trigger page scroll value.
Please note
When using the control group, please note the following
For standard type messages
If you are using a standard type of message, the control group will reflect the scrolling values defined in Pattern 1. Therefore, the control group will be for users who meet the scrolling values set in Pattern 1.
For example.
If you set the timing of the message display in Pattern 1 to when the user reaches 50% of the page after meeting the delivery trigger condition, the control group will be targeted at the user who reaches 50% of the page after meeting the delivery trigger condition.
For custom type messages
If you change the message type from Standard to Custom, the value of the scrolling in Pattern 1 is automatically reflected in the control group at the time of the change. However, if you manually re-edit the scroll values in JavaScript, the changes are not automatically carried over to the control group. .
The messages are displayed at different times, which may prevent the AB test from being evaluated correctly. If necessary, edit the JavaScript in the control group to make the dwell time values the same as in pattern 1.
Processing required to use the system
This function is enabled by turning on the Enable JavaScript Editing in Web messages option in the "Project Settings" section of the Repro administration screen.
The above JavaScript editing function can be enabled only for the owner.
Please refer to official document for details.
