The use cases of audience
Here are some examples of using audience.
Register your audience with filters that you create frequently
It's hard to create a segmentation filter every time you deliver a campaign to the same target audience multiple times. You can save yourself a lot of hassle by creating an audience in advance.
Send a pinpoint message to a specific user
By creating an audience in import, you can only reach out to specific users. For example, you can send a congratulatory message to the first place winner of the lottery, or send an apology to a specific user who has experienced a glitch.
Create a distribution NG list and exclude it from the distribution target
By using audiences in the import, you can exclude certain user ID lists from the segmentation filter with AND NOT. For example, by registering a list of end users in your audience that you would like to exclude from push notifications, you can exclude them from delivery.
Register users whose coupons are about to expire with a badge
You can use the Audience API or Audience Import (beta) to update the user list via the API or S3. With updated audiences, users whose coupons are about to expire in three days can see an in-app message that says, "Your coupon expires with three days left. “You can update your user list by periodically updating the "user list with 3 days left to expire coupons" that you have signed up for in your audience.
